This bronze coin comes from Ptolemaic Egypt under Greek rule. It features Ptolemy IV, Philopater, 221-205 BC. It's a huge bronze hemidrachm, Alexandria mint, featuring the head of Zeus-Ammon wearing ra am's horn and tainia with an Eagle standing left, on a thunderbolt, and an E between its legs, with inscription PTOLEMAIOU BASILEWS.
