Product Description
This is a fantastic Egyptian funerary mask, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, the facial portion from an anthropoid sarcophagus lid, retaining original gesso and paint. The features are in wonderful style and the eyes with great detail. It's mounted on a lucite base, and there has been repair/restoration around the outer portions of the mask.
