Ancient Rome. Hadrian (117-138 AD). Excellent silver denarius, set into a .925 silver and leather bracelet. Coin struck at Rome mint, and depicts his laureate head right, HADRIANVS AVG COS III PP around. The back depicts Moneta (the Roman goddess of money) standing left, holding scales and cornucopiae; MONETA AVG around. The clasp slides laterally to be securely opened and closed. A fantastic and wearable jewelry piece!
