25 Pre-Inca arrowheads // c. 1500 BC - 400 AD
Product Description
Pre-Inca, most likely Wankarani or Chiripa culture, Bolivia, South America (1500 BC - 400 AD). A collection of 25 fantastic little stone bird points. Incredibly rare! These are far less common than Inca artifacts and show an exceptional level of workmanship. Collected in the 1940's by a Bolivian native. The largest shown measures just under 1.5” L, each with finely graduated denticulations (toothed edges). From the Altiplano area of the Cochabamba region between Lake Titicaca and Lake Poopo. That would most likely make them either Wankarani or Chiripa culture, dating from as early as 1500 BC to as late as 400 AD. These are just fantastic, and still so sharp!
