An extremely rare and PUBLISHED Samaritan oil lamp from the Holy Land, c. 4th Century AD. The body is heavily decorated with palm branches and geometric motifs. Intact, in an excellent state of preservation! 3.25" long with a nice reddish tone and light earthen and mineral deposits.
