Italian, late 1700’s to early 1800’s, fine pair of steel gauntlets from a suit of armor, each engraved with scrolled foliate and fantasy figural detail, having pointed and flared cuffs, five articulated metacarpal plates, and articulated scaled fingers and thumb defenses.
