Excellent "Pirate" Gun // Belgian Percussion Lock Pistol
Product Description
A fantastic Belgian flintlock Officer's pistol by D'amour a Liege, converted to percussion in the mid 1800’s. The type commonly used by seafaring pirates at the time. A fantastic and huge gun! Marked "D'amour A Liege," decorative engraving throughout brass. The walnut stock with a rich deep brown patina. Early rounded banana lockplate with percussion conversion. Tight and smooth action… the hammer stays at half and full cock with strong action. Overall condition is very good. Engraving is clear, the brass with original patina, wood is very clear, minimal cosmetic flaws on steel parts. Ramrod is a later replacement.
