Ancient Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, c. 664-535 BC. A nice faience papyrus scepter amulet. Originally a rich green, the glaze has faded to a reddish-brown over the millennia. Holed through laterally for suspension, and hung on a modern silver jewelry bale for modern wear.
