Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom through Late Period c. 1570-535 BC. Gorgeous necklace comprised of high-quality ancient blue/green faience tube beads interspersed with fine yellow, green, red, blue and black disk beads. These extremely high-quality beads were crafted of faience, a porcelain/glass-like material which turned bright colors when fired in the kiln. Re-strung on modern necklace wire and findings. Single strand with clasp in back splits into 4 strands across the front. Measures 18" long.

All of these beads are ancient, and date from the New Kingdom through Late Dynastic period. The only modern bits are the necklace wire and clasp.
