Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom through Late Period c. 1570-535 BC. Gorgeous necklace comprised of high-quality ancient blue/green faience tube beads interspersed with fine yellow, green, red, blue and black disk beads. These extremely high-quality beads were crafted of faience, a porcelain/glass-like material which turned bright colors when fired in the kiln. Re-strung on modern necklace wire and findings. Single strand with clasp in back splits into 4 strands across the front. Measures 18" long.
