Ancient Peru. Chimu, c. 1100 - 1450 AD. Nice Chimu blackware figural vessel, the neck in the form of a male head with nose ornament and ear spools, the body of the vessel is decorated with two seated felines on either side amidst a stipple pattern. Professionally repaired at neck and rim.
