A silver dirham imitating the standard type of the Ayyubid caliph al-Salih Isma'il, posthumously citing the Abbasid caliph al-Mustansir. 20mm, 3.68g. ref: Coins of the Crusader States #3; Album-849.1. VF-EF, a very rare high grade for the type. Ex Stephen Album, expert and author of the definitive books on coins of the Islamic period.
