A very nice Medieval Armenia silver tram of King Levon I, Cilician Kingdom, 1198-1219 AD. King seated on throne ornamented with lions, his feet resting on a footstool, wearing a crown and royal mantle on his shoulders. He holds a cross in his right hand and fleur-de-lis in his left. Armenian inscription: "+ Levon King of the Armenians" / Two lions rampant back-to-back, each with heads reverted; patriarchal cross with two bars between them. Armenian inscription: "+ By the will of God." Encapsulated and graded About Uncirculated Details by NGC! Coin diameter 22mm, archival slab measures 3.125" x 2.125" x 0.375”.
