A very nice ancient Byzantine silvered-bronze bracelet, circa 10th - 12th century AD. A finely-made and rare torque-type bracelet, comprised of heavy silver wires braided together to form a wonderful pattern. The ends terminate into flat triangular tab ends, each decorated with a pattern of raised balls or studs with delicate ropework edging. Intact and well-preserved with gorgeous patina. W: 3". Comes with custom metal stand (entire display stands 4"H).
