Indus Valley, c. 2500 - 1800 BC. A nice Harappan ceramic jar from the Indus Valley, decorated with a pair of large winged birds, separated by plants and surrounded by a wide variety of symbols and linear décor. Strong paint, red highlights and good mineral deposits. A rare motif for these.
