Pre-Columbian Spindle Whorl Earrings // c. 800 - 1500 AD
Product Description
A nice pair of earrings comprised of Manteno spindle whorls from Ecuador, c. 800 - 1500 AD, depicting pelicans and other geometric designs. Fastened on modern .925 silver ear hooks and findings, these black ceramic beads are set off with white kaolin for incredible contrast, and hung with nicely polished reddish-brown Bahia shell beads from Ecuador, c. 500 - 1500 AD.
