Ancient Mesopotamia, c. 8th century BC. This wonderful Mesopotamian stone cylinder seal is finely carved with a depiction of a seated king being presented a gazelle by 2 adorants or attendants. Excellent dark pinkish stone. Mounted on museum-quality display stand with rollout of the seal.
