Ancient Celtic, c. 2nd-1st century BC. Eastern Celtic tribes. Excellent bronze horseman figurine upon his horse, with original bronze base with four small peg legs. The rider has an expressive face, detailed hair and cloak draping down off one shoulder. His right hand is raised high, his left extended as if holding the reins. One leg nicely detailed, the left leg missing. The horse with nicely detailed eyes and mouth, mane and wide harness.
