Ancient Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, c. 664-322 BC. A lovely necklace comprised of blue-green faience tube beads and black, yellow, red and blue faience disk bead spacers. Upon it is hung a wonderful Late Dynastic Period red faience Djed (“Backbone” or “Pillar” of Osiris) amulet. L: 19.25”.
