Product Description
A wonderful small bronze opium weight in the form of a coiled snake from Myanmar/Burma, 1800’s AD, during the height of the Opium Wars. Cast to a local standard of 1 kyat or baht, used by the hill tribes of Shan State and Northern Thailand. L: 20mm, H: 14mm, weighs 9.55g. Nice green patina with light earthen and mineral deposits. Choice VF for type!
