Medieval/Crusader England, c. 13th-14th century AD. Rare lead seal matrix. A floral pattern at center, around which is engraved (in retrograde as it was intended to be impressed into wax): S’ASGEL, RECWA' (seal of ASGIL RECWA). Measures 37x26mm. From the collection of the late Eldert Bontekoe, owner of Pegasi, Ann Arbor Michigan.

Accompanied by a hand-signed certificate of authenticity which includes all the details, culture, dating, motifs/inscriptions when applicable, historical relevance, and provenance.
