Azes II. "King from the East", 35 BC - 5 AD. Large silver tetradrachm. King on horseback following a star, Greek inscription around / Athena standing right, holding spear and shield, monograms in field, Indian inscription around. Extremely Fine with sharp, high-relief detail.
Azes II is believed by some scholars to have possibly been one of the "Three Kings" or "Wise Men" of the Bible!
