Black Plague! From the time of the Black Death, c. 1340-1360 AD. Silver "Heller" coin, struck in Hall, Germany. Hand with palm forward / Cross with arms ending in pellets, all within circular border. ref: Saurma 1364. VF. Average size 15-17mm. This striking Heller of Hall coin depicts an open hand, a distinctly Jewish symbol, as well as a crisp cross, a distincly Christian one. Very interesting piece of history! Ex-Numismatik Naumann, Germany. * Every coin is unique but similar in size and condition. The one you receive may be different and not necessarily the same as pictured. Some are darker, others lighter, a few with chipped edges, but each has strong detail on at least one side.
