Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom to Late Period, c. 1570-535 BC. A stunning necklace comprised of extremely high-quality ancient multicolored faience disk beads, with a modern alpaca silver pendant depicting the bust of Nefertiti. Total length 17 inches. Faience was a porcelain/glass-like material revered by the ancient Egyptians which turned bright colors when fired in the kiln.
