Holy Land, Old Testament period. Middle Bronze Age, circa 2500 BCE. It is speculated that Biblical Noah lived sometime around this time (Genesis 9:29). A wonderful creme buff pottery single-handled dipper cup, found in Jordan. A very nice example with flat bottom, round body, flared lip and thick handle. In an excellent state of preservation!
