Michoacan, ancient Mexico, c. 1000-500 BC. A large and intact pottery pregnant “pretty lady” figurine. A solid, hand-molded figure, with a soft, pleasant face, depicted nude; her hands at her sides, her breasts exposed. She has a little belly, and is wearing an elaborate headdress and necklace.
