Product Description
Luristan, ancient Persia, c. 1500-800 BC. A set of two monumental bronze collars or torques, which would have been placed above the biceps on the statue of a hero or god in ancient times. It has a green patina with some light interior deposits, and intact save for some stress cracks. Each with holes at the ends of the bands for cordage to be passed through and cinched tight.
