Ancient Roman, c. 2nd to 3rd Century AD. A large and gorgeous Roman glass vase, graceful form, with a narrow neck and funnel rim, and flattened, slightly flared foot. An extraordinary specimen of preservation from antiquity, made of eggshell-thin light green glass, the body with multicolored iridescence, light earthen and mineral deposits on the inside.
