Product Description

An excellent Belgian octagonal barrel percussion pistol made in the 1840's-1860's. The pistol's total length measures 15 3/4 inches, and features a 10-inch tapered octagonal barrel, small blade front sight and notched rear sight, on wonderfully engraved top tang. The barrel is engraved down the length what appears to read “L. REQUILEZ FAB D’ARMES A’ LIEGE”. The side-plate, butt and trigger guard have intricate engraved scrollwork and designs, and the wood features nicely hand-engraved designs.The stock with a rich chocolate-brown tone with a few minor chips and scratches from use. The hammer stays at half and full cock with strong action.
