Product Description
Parthia, ancient Persia. King Artabanus IV, 191-224 AD. Excellent silver drachm, set into a custom .925 silver bezel and 18-inch Italian silver chain. The front depicts the bust of the king facing left with long beard and wearing diadem with loop at the top and three ends; border of dots around. The back depicts the archer Arsakes wearing bashlyk and cloak seated right on throne (depicted as two pellets), holding bow; Greek inscription around.
