Ancient Roman Egypt Mosaic glass-bead necklace, c. 1st - 2nd century AD. Large black, blue, and swirled black and white glass beads, some with fine raised white, orange, blue, yellow and red 'mosaic' glass details. The beads were unearthed near the Fayum, mid/lower Egypt and re-strung on modern jewelry wire with silver fittings.
