Ancient Rome. Hadrian (117-138 AD). Excellent silver denarius, set into a .925 silver and leather men’s bracelet. Coin struck at Rome mint, and depicts his laureate head right, HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS around. The back depicts Roma seated left; COS III around. reference: RIC 256-var for type. Coin diameter 16.86mm, bezel diameter 3/4”. Total bracelet length about 8.5”, the inside diameter about 2.5” x 2.25”. The clasp slides laterally to be securely opened and closed.
