An Anatolian marble head from a Kilia idol, Bronze Age II, c. 2700 - 2300 BC, of roughly triangular form, with long curved upper edge, a 'nose' down the center and a narrow neck. Well-preserved with light deposits and a custom base (entire piece with base stands 2 3/8” tall). Ex Royal Athena Galleries, New York (with original Royal Athena price tag on base).
