Product Description
Ancient Egypt. Late New Kingdom, c. 1292 - 1075 BC. Nice terracotta ushabti, burial figure, servant to the deceased in the afterlife. Molded in mummiform pose, wearing tripartite headdress, arms folded across waist, hands holding implements. Still shows remains of paint, with traces of painted hieroglyphic inscription from the Book of the Dead down front. Repaired at midsection.
