Ancient Celtic, c. 2nd - 1st century BC. Lovely bronze horse. A small Celtic votive bronze horse figurine, likely from an ancient house-shrine. Depicted walking, with one leg up, and tail out. W: 44 mm (1 3/4"). Nice olive-green patina. Mounded in archival magnetic frame (frame measures 4" diameter). Found near the Danube River, Eastern Europe. ex-Los Angeles, CA collection.
