Ancient Islamic. Ghaznavid kingdom. Massive silver Multiple Dirhem struck under caliph Mahmud ibn Sebuktegin who ruled from AH388 to AH421 (999 - 1030 AD). Andaraba mint, struck c. AH389 (1000 AD). Arabic inscriptions on both sides. Nice gray cabinet tone.
