Product Description
18th Century Ottoman Flintlock Holster Pistol. 16" overall with slightly flared 10½" .69 caliber smoothbore barrel.
The top of the barrel covered with etched, engraved, and brass inlaid decoration. Lock also covered with brass inlay work with nice detail of gadrooned tail on the frizzen spring. All brass furniture with engraved decoration including crescent moon and stars on the butt cap and wrist escutcheon.
The stock is excellent with nice patina but is broken/ split along the edges of the barrel on both sides for the last 3" of the forestock. Also a few small chips at the edge of the buttcap on the left side. A fine quality example and readily restorable. A gorgeous display piece!
