Pre-Columbian Ancient West Mexico. Colima, c. 100 BC - AD 250. A cute Colima ceramic votive depicting a woman strapped to a bed. Beautifully modeled with great detail and mottled deposits over brown slip. The back with very old excavation labels. Published and illustrated in “Anecdotal Sculpture of Ancient West Mexico” by Hasso Von Winning & Olga Hammer (1972), figure 180.
