An attractive Gnathian-ware ribbed bottle, ancient Greek Apulia, c. 330 - 300 BC, the ovoid body with vertical ribbing on pedestal foot. The neck narrows with decorative 'collar' below horizontal bands; vertical lines above. The wide, collared rim with painted triangles around the outside. An elegant shape used for storing oil or perfume. Moderate surface deposits.
