Product Description

A very spooky and interesting old 1920’s-1930’s wooden mask found in an abandoned 1930’s factory. Imagine looking down upon this through the dust and debris! This was an old wooden form for fitting papier-mâché for making masks for the garment industry. If this wooden face could only talk! It has a deep brown patina, and a serious ambiance about it that is hard to place words upon. This exact mask has been looked at by the Hollywood circuit, with consideration of placement in a variety of spooky TV features (none yet have come to pass). It is basically life-size, measuring 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”. Recovered from an old New Jersey factory; ex New York City private collection.
