Superb and very large Teotihuacan bust from Mexico c. 650-750 AD. This choice example depicts an individual adorned with what appear to be peyote emblems on his head. A beautiful regal visage, good mineral deposits. It is a molded head from an Metepec type incensario, ca. 650 - 750 AD. The back with inked excavation tag "TEOTIHUACAN 500 AD".
