Roman Lead Scorpion
Product Description
This is an interesting Roman lead element in the form of a scorpion, Ancient Rome, c. 1st - 3rd Century AD. Likely a legionary or military adornment, fashioned from a sheet of lead with eight legs represented by two per side with shortened tail and claws; three holes down the center with the largest at the tail likely for suspension. It's finished with a nice grey-brown patina.
