Huge Silver Shipwreck Coin Pendant
Product Description
From the wreck of El Cazador, Spanish galleon sunk in 1784 off New Orleans, this is a fantastic huge silver 8-reale "Piece of Eight", set into a stunning modern .925 silver bezel and 20-inch Italian silver chain. This coin is referred-to as "America's first silver dollar" and considered the most valuable circulating coin in the New World. It bears the bust of Charles III, the reverse pillars believed to be what inspired the "$" dollar sign used today. Each specimen is unique but similar in size and appearance. The one you will receive might be slightly different and not necessarily the same as pictured.
