A white faience ushabti from the Ptolemaic Period in Ancient Egypt, c. 332- 30 BC. This burial figure depicts a servant to the deceased in the afterlife, shown in mummy form, with false beard, arms folded across chest, hands holding a crook and flail, and seed bag draped over back of shoulder. White color with light earthen deposits. E
very specimen is unique but similar in size and appearance. The one you will receive might be slightly different and not necessarily the same as pictured. Average height 3 7/8” to 4 1/8”. ex-Nomis Antiquities; ex-Simonian family collection, Switzerland, collected in the 1960's.
