Biblical "Widow's Mite" coin. Bronze prutah, coin type mentioned in the Bible. Struck 103-76 BC. Wheel with 8 ray-like spokes, Hebrew inscription "Yehonatan the King" / Seleucid anchor, Greek inscription "BASILEWS ALEXANDPOY”. Minted during the 1st Century BC but circulated during the time of Christ. Set into a great .925 silver swivel ring with nice floral detail at top of band. Fantastic brassy color, good detail, making it an excellent, wearable piece of history!
