A choice Jalisco standing matched pair from ancient West Mexico, c, 100 BC - 250 AD. Both figures are red-slipped with white painted details and elongated heads with headbands. Their features are nicely modeled with bulging eyes, angular nose, short arms and bifurcated feet with attractive mottled deposits.
