The front depicts the diademed head of the deified Alexander facing right, wearing elephant skin headdress / The back shows an Eagle standing left on thunderbolt with wings displayed; Δ between legs, BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΠTOΛEMAIOY. Ref: Lorber CPE B219; Svoronos 439; SNG Copenhagen 158; Noeske 67-8 for type. 23.4 mm, 10.96 g. Good Fine, with deep olive-green patina and which reddish earthen deposits.
