Pre-Columbian. Michoacán, ancient Mexico. Archaic Period c. 200 BC. A fine ceramic female figurine, of the classic ”Double Eye" type. She is depicted with expressive features, wide eyes and mouth, with long hair, wearing a wide multi-layered necklace and large ear-spools. Old collection tag on back. Figurine measures 2 1/4” tall. Mounted in archival frame (frame measures 5 1/8” x 5 1/8” x 1 1/4”).
