Philip III was the son of Philip II of Macedon, and elder half brother of Alexander the Great. The coin depicts the head of Herakles clad in Nemean lion skin facing right / Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle and scepter, monograms to left, ÎĤIÎIÎ Î OY (âOf Philipâ) behind. Set into a modern custom gold plated bezel.
