Product Description
Ancient Greece, circa 3rd-2nd century BC. Excellent bronze arrowhead, found at a battlefield in former Thrace-Macedonia near the Black Sea. A large example, measuring 1 3/8” long, tri-lobate (three bladed) and socketed type. Still quite sharp! Deep olive-green patina. Set into stunning custom .925 silver bezel adorned with 2 genuine sapphires and 20-inch Italian silver chain. Arrowhead reference: See Malloy, “Weapons” #116; Muscarella 180 for general type.
