Product Description
Ancient Egypt. New Kingdom, 18th-20th Dynasty, c. 1550-1070 BC. A rare wooden ushabti, burial figure, servant to the deceased in the afterlife. It is depicted wearing a headdress, with an inscription in black reading "The Osiris Kanakht… true of voice.” The father's or mother's name might have been originally written. Quite large, and exceptionally well-preserved, with ochre-colored slip and deep black painted details.
